Technology at the service of persons
APTES promotes the use of technology to achieve progress and improvements in people's quality of life.
Vision
This space is intended to become a reference point for technology and innovation focusing on improving people’s quality of life.
APTES is an organisation with an open, interdisciplinary nature, made up of a network of organisations and professionals.
Its objective is to drive the establishment of social technology as an option for the future, with recognition at decision-making level in determining political and social priorities for financial and technological resources.

Description of the image
Social Technology can be represented as a four-leafed clover, symbolising the relationship between four elements, which when suitably linked can transform knowledge into social progress. These elements are:
- Technological development
- The development of human abilities
- Financial growth based on services
- Quality of life for both the individual and the family.
They are all support each other. Social technology provides a focus for transforming knowledge into technology and this, in turn, into social development. This framework for relationships can generate a positive dynamic, whose desired effect is: increased productivity and value of companies, job creation, resources for research and skills and independence for people. All this leads to a social environment where civic values, advanced services, attraction of talent, social resources and innovation are outstanding among forms of human progress.
